This folder includes 5 C source files and 1 header file that together define an interface for Matlab and Octave to invoke LIBSVM. The LIBSVM distribution includes a matlab subfolder. Svm-train.exe, svm-predict.exe, and svm-scale.exe will be generated. Run cygwin terminal and cd to unzipped libsvm-ranksvm-3.20 directory Run make. Install Cygwin, make sure to check devel packages during installation for ‘make’ packages to install. ![]() Otherwise, you might consider downloading the source code from the LIBSVM authors' page and compiling and installing it per their instructions. There are instructions on building ‘x’, ‘x’, ‘x’, and ‘x’, but those didn’t work for me right out of the box, and it wasn’t clear what to do with the.mex files once they’re ready. The README file in the LIBSVM matlab subfolder adds that prebuilt binaries are included only for 64-bit Matlab on Windows. According to the, Octave support has been available since version 2.86 (of LIBSVM), and all you have to do was type make inside Octave. I did this with an 圆4 build of Windows 8, Octave 3.6.2 圆4, and LIBSVM 3.13. ![]() NovemThis post will help you get to the point where you can invoke commands from, on Windows.
